REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9482

ANTI-RABIES ACT OF 2007


THIS LAW IS NOT JUST FOR BARANGAY BUT FOR THE WHOLE PHILIPPINES 


For those with pet DOGS:

By RA 9482, irresponsible dog owners may be subject to fines:


Dogs that are not vaccinate the pet dog - 

P2,000 fine, If a dog is bitten without a vaccine - P10,000 fine If the pet dog bites and the owner does not want to help the victim - P25,000 fine

 Failure to tie or lock the pet dog - P500.00 fine


Senate Bill No. 3189 prohibits the spread of dog feces in public and private places after it is discovered that it causes human disease, spreading dog feces on the road, house, park or in any place not owned by the dog owner.


if they are not prevented from moving to the prohibited areas, it is necessary to clean immediately by the owner or whoever is carrying the dog and throw the dirt in the trash.


Dog droppings leave the eggs of roundworms and parasites in the soil and they stay there even a few years later. The parasites that carry dog ​​feces are Cryptosporidium, Giardia and Salmonella as well as hookworms, ringworms and tapeworms.
